Youth Ministry
“YOUTH MINISTRY”
OF THE OTSEGO UNITED METHODIST CHURCH
The purpose of the Youth Ministry at the Otsego United Methodist Church is to provide an environment where our Youth (grades 6-12) can grow and develop into mature Christian Young Adults, who have a desire to live for God and serve God faithfully in everyday life, while being a good example for their friends in everyday life. This is done through providing a Youth Group where our young people can have fun together, make friends, support one another, serve others, learn about God, and grow to Love and Worship God. The Youth Ministry works closely with the Pastor and other Church Ministries, to make our young people know that they are an equal part of our Church.
Our Youth Group meets together on a regular basis during the school year. Youth Bible Study classes meet every Sunday Morning, during the school year, from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. We also have a Youth Music Group that helps lead our Sunday Morning Church Services on a scheduled basis. All Youth are eligible to attend any one of the summer camps offered through the West Michigan Conference of United Methodists. Scholarships are available.
